Impact Of Advertising On Selected Consumer Goods (Toilet Soap) A Study Of Pz Cuzzon Nigeria Plc Aba, Abia State. XX
ABSTRACT
The purpose of the study was to
determine the impact of Advertizing on the purchase of selected consumer
products with special reference to toilet soap. Advertizing has a significant
influence on consumer buying behavior of toilet soap. It also helps consumers
to build up brand preference and loyalty. Also effective advertizing with
effective media would increase the company's sales of toilet soap. The research
concluded that while advertizing offers many benefits to the marketers,
consumer and researcher etc. we should not lose sight that as an element of'
the marketing mix advertizing must be balanced with the other elements of' its
marketing mix. The main instruments used for data collection was questionnaire
and personal observation. The research reviewed the various views of
scholars/writers in management related textbooks, newspapers, internet
facilities, magazine, etc. the data gathered from the field were presented on
tables and interpreted using descriptive statistics such as mean, media, mode.
From the entire work done, the research further recommended to the management
of toilet soap the measures followed will help to maintain industrial harmony and
together with effective advertising of products. Finally bibliography, appendix
and definition o terms were also contained in the research.
