Role Of Small Scale Business In The Economic Growth Of Consumers In Arochukwu L.G.A:- Uba, Theresa O
ABSTRACT
The study focused on small scale business on
the welfare of consumers in Arochukwu Local Government Area of Abia State. Data
were collected through the use of a structured questionnaire on operation of
small business. Descriptive statistics was used to examine the personal data of
the respondents through the use of frequency table and percentage. In the
study, an extensive literature review was carried out to investigate different
opinions of the various authors in relative to the study. Based on the analysis
of data, the researcher found out that the impact of small-scale business on
Arochukwu L.G.A cannot be over emphasized. They provide employment opportunity,
generate revenue, create wealth and provide goods and services that assist, in
nation building. Recommendations were made on how to ensure the continuous
existence ofsmall-scale business.
