ABSTRACT
The actual aim of
this study is to look into consumer brand loyalty and product acceptance in the
marketing place. It -also seek to determine the effect of branding in product
marketing. The interest of the marketer is to find or develop a brand name that
strongly relates to the personal value structure of large segment of the market.
Brand names provide strong assistance in the development of markets for
convenience goods. The write up starts by introducing how Nigeria has been
struggling to become sell sufficient by encouraging native manufacturing of
goods and services and how some of their problems are solved. In this chapter
also are statements of problem, purpose of study, importance of the study,
scope, justification of the study, definition of terms, chapter two surveys
some literature review on branding and its effects. Chapter three deals with
methodology including population and sample plan, data collection, techniques,
instrument, validity and reliability, administration, encouraging investment in
growth. Marketing program like trade fairs often organized to encourage and
give exposure to local manufacturers. It created more awareness for example, in
the food industry where the best performance award is given to the firm that
had most customers during the fair. Nigeria Botthng Company is one of the
companies that uses a local sources of raw materials to bound, the company
(Nigeria Bottling Company) is not without problems. They manufacture their
product and secure stronger market position by use of brand names. The company
stands competitively against others and is almost consumed in every family. If
you don't take it, your visitor must take". The American Corporation
founded in 1892 and today engaged primarily in the manufactured on and sale of
syrup and concentrated on Coca-Cola. The drink Coca-Cola was originated in 1886
by John S. Pemberton at his Pemberton chemical company.
