Packaging As An Effective Tool In Enhancing Sales Value In Manufacturing Industry (A Study Of Uni-Liver Plc Aba, Abia State)
ABSTRACT
Offering superior value to customer at least
cost to the firm has been the primacy of every firm. There is a to analyze
values that will not only satisfy but also retain customers. It is base on this
fact that the study investigated packaging as an Effective tool in enhancing
customer values in the cosmetic industry; study of unsilver Plc, Aba Abia:
State. In this research process probability sampling plan was adopted to get
the sample size of 134 respondents from a population of 200 questionnaire was
designed to collect primary data for the study which were analyzed with simple
percentages and analysis and chi-square models were adopted to test the
hypothesis states among which was that; packaging does not contribute to growth
in marketing share. This null hypothesis was rejected and implied alternative
accepted at 5% significant level. Therefore, the researcher concluded that
packaging have positive relationship, increase. Sales volume and customer
satisfaction at the long run. Thus, the researcher recommended that goof and
attractive packaging should be adopted especially in the customer market; where
acceleration of buyer's behavior, consumption, pattern and innovation dynamics
characterized the market environment.
