Influence Of Packaging On Consumer Buying Decision Of The Product Of Pz Plc Aba, Abia State, Nigeria
ABSTRACT
In this research influence
of packaging on purchasing reference was surveyed using Pz Company Nigeria
Limited as a case study, packaging is a new phenomenon in Nigeria's economic
selling. Through it has been in use in the developed countries of the world,
the dynamics of its function in those countries are different in certain aspect
from what obtains in Nigeria economy. In order to achieve the objectives of the
study the following hypothesis of the study was tested which are top study the
relationship between cost of packaging and the profit of the firm was achieved
with the help of the spearman correlation coefficient. To achieve the second
hypothesis was achieved with the help of multiple regression analysis and the
result shows that colour, quality, quantity price and location are the factors
affecting the purchase preference of the customers. It is therefore very
imperative that companies should consider this factors while packaging their
products.
