Majority of the respondents were full time workers with large household sizes, working in a conducive environment but were not involved in decision making. The result of correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive relationship between productivity and financial motivation while the multiple regression model revealed that experience, working hours, decision making, nature of employment, management style were found to be factors influencing financial motivation. On the basis of the findings, XII the study suggested that government and the relevant operators of the civil service should provide the necessary infrastructure, logistics and equipment to provide the right working environment and conditions for increased efficiency among others.
