Impact Of Personnel Motivation On The Achievement Of Organizational Goals: A Study Of Nigerian Bottling Company Plc Aba, Abia State, Nigeria.

This research work
was carried out to determine the effect of personnel motivation in the
achievement of organizational goals in the Nigeria Bottling company Plc (Coca
Cola), Aba. It is obvious that the feelings behaviour and performance of a work
force count much in the success of any organization. A study was conducted on
the effect and relationship of various motivation factors to performance and
productivity, to the over-all goals of Nigeria Bobbling Company. The research
was done by using questionnaire and research questions to obtain the needed
information which formed the primary data other infomiation where got from
secondary data. In all so questionnaires were sample percentages and the
chi-square analysis. The result of the study revealed that; job security
enhances sense of belonging of the work force and their productivity. Effective
performance appraisal increases personnel motivation there is significant
relationship between personnel motivation and company performance and growth.
Furthermore other fmdings made include workers satisfaction and productivity
increase when they experience higher promotional prospects into higher ranks in
the company. Finally, the study was concluded by making some recommendations in
the following direction. Job security should be paramount in the provision of
workers, benefit by the company, the management should adopt effective
performance appraisal and open system of ranking. The organization should
provide higher promotional prospect for workers.
