Effects Of Management Of Industrial Liquid Waste On Environment (A Study Of 7up Bottling Company Plc Aba) :- Okpanku Okorie ,K
ABSTRACT
This study was carried out to find out the effect
of management of industrial liquid waste on environment in 7-Up Bottling
company Pic Aba. Three study objectives were set, and three research questions
posed from .them. Literatures relevant to the study were reviewed. The
instruments used for data collection include questionnaire, personal
observation and interviews. The data collected were organized, presented in
frequency tables analyzed in percentages. The result shows that there is
inadequate management of liquid waste due to death of professionals
environmental head officers in 7- Up bottling company Pic Aba which may result
to several health hazards like pollution of water, destruction of aquatic
lives, odour-nuisance endermity of water related diseases, examples guinea
worm, cholera, typhoid fever etc. The company should also ensure that all the
system plants are in place to enhance effective liquid waste management.
