ABSTRACT

 This study -was carried out to analyze the effect of training programmes in employee's performance; a study ofBroadcasting Corporation Abia State (BCA), Nigeria was used as a case study. The objectives ofthe study was to determine whether Painingprogramme play any role in employee performance, also to determine the effect of programme compliance on employee performance and to ascertain the influence ofPaining cost on employee performance. A set of structured questionnaire was used as instrument for data collection and administered to 178 questionnaires to the respondent randomly and 168 was duly filled and returned which was selectedfrom a population of320 using Taro Yamane as a sampling size method. The data was then analyzed using SPSS version. Sequel to the findings, the result revealed that Paining programmes plays a criticalrole in the performance ofemployees. In this era ofdigitalization of productions process and globalization which provides both challenges and associated benefits institutions and business organizations must endeavor to provide their employees with not only the relevant toolsfor work but also the required Pairings that will promote efficiency in the organization. Furthermore, Training programmes and Training cost show a positive and significantrelationshipwith employees'performance, this implies that Painingprogram activities in BCA has thepotentials to enhanceproductivity ofthe workers when given the desiredattention required The study recommends that BCA radio station should enhance manpower development as a corporate andmanagementsPategy. Itshouldseek to improve knowledge, skills andattitude required by employees to perform adequately on a given task orjob and cumulatively enhances organizationalproductivity.
