employee performance> and letermine the effect of on --the-job training . A
well-structured questionnaire was used to ollect primary data for the study
which were later analyzed using multiple regressions. After the analysis, the
study concluded that year of experience of the workers was )'ignificant at 5%
and positively contributed to the organizational growth. This implies that
increase in the workers experience leads to increase in organizational growth
which may come from increase in workers output. Educational level was also at
I% positively affects organizational growth. These two criteria have explained
the finding that the workers in the organization have the required years of
experience and educational attainment but at the minimum. In the same
dimension, skill level, remuneration, job satisfaction and employee output were
also significant at 1 % respectively. This indicates that despite the low level
of education and lack of experience, the workers are significantly productive.
However, training cost was negatively significant; which indicates that
training cost expenditure on the respondents though may affect the employ!e
outpu_t and- productivity adversely. This may be as a result of human capital
budget that is at the side for employee training. However, the recommendations
were that the firm should try all her best to retain her workers and should
avoid employees turn over; which is the rate at'which workers leave the firm.
