Comparative Analysis Of Cost And Returns Of Wholesalers And Retailers Marketing Of Vegetable Oil In Abia State
ABSTRACT
The major objective of this study
is to access the comparative analysis of cost of cost and returns of
wholesalers and retailers marketing vegetable oil in Abia State, Nigeria.
However, the specific objectives are to identify the socio-economic
characteristics of the respondents in the are the retailer and wholesalers and
to carry out comparative analyses of cost and returns of wholesalers and
retailers marketing vegetable oil. These objective were achieved with a multi
stage random. Sampling technique was used in selecting the respondent a set at
structured questionnaire was admitted in the various zones and data collected
were analyzed in percentage, ratio, mean, variance and standard deviation and
regression analysis, ages and qualification of respondent were used in the
analysis and comparism and also their years of experience and marketing of
vegetable oil in the State. From the findings it had been observed that profit
in the enterprise depends on certain factors like age of the respondents,
household size, marketing cost sales volume or volume of sales and experience
results to increase in volume of sales of vegetable oil marketers.
