ABSTRACT
This project is focused on the
total number of reported major crime cases in Abia State (2010 2014). The data
for this work is a secondary data collected from Nigerian Police Force (Crime
Investigation Department), Abia State. Forecast was made for different months
of 20 1 5 and we observed that there will be decreasing rate of crime in January,
February. July, August and december. and also crime rate increases in the
months of' March. April. May. June. September. October and November. The
developed model for crime in the state is y=4709 0.8581+0.00652/2
