Time Series Analysis Of Road Accident In Enugu State (A Case Study Of Enugu Urban)
ABSTRACT
Road accident hay. been of great social and economic concern. It has become a vital topic for scientific investigation. The number of deaths on the today, particularly on the major roads of urban areas are what motivated me in writing this project. This study is essentially based on the time series analysis of Road Accident in Enugu urban from 1993 to 1998. We are aware of the number of deaths on the highways being recorded these days. This places a question mark on the basis of logic, backed by observations that certain people have worse accident than Others. Therefore the major purpose of this work, is to construct a mathematical model which could be used to predict or forecast reliable and dependable future fatality figure of accident in Enugu and proffer suggestion to stop this ugly trend.
