three This project topic centers on the statistical analysis of the abortion practices in different hospitals in Abia Stale from period of 2000— 2005. three hospitals used for the project arc Sunshine hospital Umuahia, Ezuma hospital Okigwe Rd Aba and Ivory hospital Ohafia. The data collected were from the State Ministry of I-lealth, Abia-State (for Ivory Hospital Ohaolia) and from the Hospitals administrative offices (Ezuma Hospital Okigwe Road, Aba and Sunshine Hospital Umuahia). ANOVA and Kruskal — Wallis test were utilized for the analysis. From the result, the analysis showed no significant difference in years for Sunshine hospital and significant difference in years for Ezuma and Ivory hospitals, no significant difference in years for the three hospitals combined and significant difference between the three different hospitals. Furthermore, the multiple comparison procedures were used to indicate these differences. From these it was conclude that; abortion practices in Sunshine hospital Umuahia was the same within the period 2000 — 2005, abortion practices in Ezuma hospital Okigwe Rd. Aba was higher in 2001 compared to 2002 and 2003 and higher in 2005 compared to 2003. abortion practices in Ivory hospital Ohafia was higher in 2000 and 2003 compared to 2005, the abortions conducted from '2000 to 2005 in these hospitals are the same and that abortion practices conducted in Ivory hospital Ohafia is higher than abortion conducted in the other two hospitals.
