ABSTRACT

The search for efficiency and effectiveness in rendering medical assistance have allowed information communication technologies to create the basis for the development of communities (web-portals) that defy physical boundaries and are not bound by time and space. (Falk, 1998). Currently, women ovulation and due date calculation is being done manually by various individuals. This process involves the use of calendar to track date; the woman involves then makes assumption based on the menstrual cycle. Web technology in relationship to web-development is fast gaining ground as an accepted and usable business paradigm. More and more business houses are implementing web sites providing functionality for medical assistance over the web. In order to create more awareness and ease in making the rich information about ovulation available to the women ofthe society, the need for women ovulation and due date calculator app is taken into consideration.
