ABSTRACT

Natural disasters are unpredictable events that can have devastating effects on communities and infrastructure. Effective disaster management requires timely and accurate information about the impact and needs of affected areas. This research presents the design and development of an online disaster report management system (ODRMS) to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of disaster response efforts. The ODRMS is designed to streamline the process of collecting, organizing and analyzing disaster reports from various sources, including emergency service providers, government agencies, and citizens. The system utilizes modern webbased technologies to enable real-time data collection and collaboration among stakeholders involved in disaster response. The research focuses on several key aspects of the ODRMS, including the user interface, data management, and reporting functionalities. The user interface is designed to be intuitive and userfriendly, allowing both technical and non-technical users to easily navigate and submit disaster reports. The data management component ensures the secure storage and retrieval information, enabling quick access to critical data during emergency situations. Furthermore, the ODRMS incorporates advanced analytics capabilities to enable data visualization and decision support. By analyzing the collected data, emergency responders and policy makers can gain insights into the extent of the disaster, prioritize response efforts, and allocate resources more effectively.
