ABSTRACT
Drinking water has contributed to
stake its claims to consumer share of throat as demand for it has prevailed.
The fundamental water values of purity, quality, availability and everyday
dehydration remain strong amongst consumers all across the globe (Zenith
International, 2008). Water continues to experience a boost from a heightened
awareness of the need of hydration and its benefits on the human body and mind.
Among the various forms of packaged water, bottled water is now becoming
increasing accessible in emerging economics such as latin American and East
Europe. Meanwhile, the global change by bottled water in recent years has been
supported by strong growth in bulk formats such as water for coolers, and the
growing familiarization with small pack everyday hydration in all corners of
the globe. Although access to safe water remains a challenge in many parts of
the developing world, potable water is fundamentally relied upon through a
variety of pack format from small porches for 2 immediate consumption, through
to 5 gallon water containers for consumption at home and work (EAERE, 2007).
