Library As An Educational Facility For National Development:- Nwosu, J.C
Abstract
The paper
is focused on Library as an educational facility for national development. It
discussed what library and national development mean respectively, the role of
education in national development: the contribution of the library to education
and national development making reference to how utilisation of library
materials was the key; to uevelopment in the Western nations. The paper further
pointed out the obstacles library services face in Nigeria which have been
hindering the nation's development and finally proffers solutions to those
obstacles which when implemented will surely move the nation forward.
