ABSTRACT
The study examined the impact ofemployee
involvement in decision making on organizational productivity. The study was
carried out in Michael Okpara University ofAgriculture, Umudike, Abia State.
The specific objectives were to determine the relationship between employee
involvements in decision making on firms' productivity, to ascertain the impact
of employee’s organizational growth, Io determine the effect of employee i
employee performance. The study adopted survey and also adopted. Primary data
was i were involvements in decision making creativity in decision making on
involvement decision making on i descriptive design and random sampling
technique were < ' sourced from distribution of questionnaires to staff of
the five study banks. The data presented using 5 point Likert scale and
analyzed using chi-square and correlation coefficient. The findings of this
study revealed that majority of the respondents were male with 72.5%. majority
of the respondents were at the age bracket 20-30 years with 42.5%, All the
respondents had MSC/PH.d with 100%, major of the respondents had working
experience between 21-25 years. The empirical result shows that workers
involvement has effects on the productivity ofan organization, also ascertain
that employee's creativity in decision making has an impact on organizational
growth and that employee involvement decision making has an effect on employee
performance evaluation. It also recommended that management of organizations
should encourage and motivate workers and as well allow them make decisions in
the organization, thereby boosting organizational productivity.
