ABSTRACT
Employees are the backbone to
employers as well as the potential customers. Motivating the employee is the
biggest challenge faced by all renowned organizations. Employee rotation is the
accessible technique for enhancing employee's efficiency in rendering quality
services to all organizations. The main objective of this study is to
investigate the effects of employees rotation organizational productivity in
Nigeria Breweries Plc. Other objectives which will aid in the study include to
determine the effect of employees training, programme and acquisition of new
skills on organizational productivity in Nigeria Breweries Plc. examine the
effect employees motivation and firm size on organizational productivity in
Nigerian Breweries plc. investigate the effect of employees' academic qualifications
and level of work experience Of organizational productivity in Nigeria Breweries
Plc. The researcher adopted the descriptive research design, the area of study
is in Nigeria breweries Aba, Abia State. The population for this study was 340
staff while the sample size was 184 which were determined using Tarn Yamane.
The instrument for data collection was mostly questionnaire and interview and
the sources of data were primary and secondary. The data was analyzed using
simple regression analysis. The study concluded that tile impact of job
rotation in general describes the most efficient and cost effective way of
training workers to acquire experience at Various units and departments in the
organization. And the recommendations made by the researcher are the practice
of employee rotation should continue, but emphasis on it alone should be fully
blended with other forms of training programmes. The time (in days spent on a
particular job should be extended before ci worker is moved to another job.
This will enhance the worker 's understanding of the task before the worker is
moved to another job. Management should as a matter of fact, motivate workers
in any form of job workers find themselves as this will enable the worker
contribute towards the attainment of the organization 's set objectives
