ABSTRACT

Women ovulation and due date calculation software is an application developed to automate the calculation of ovulation and due date for women. The app is designed to overcome some of the identified shortcomings of the traditional methods of calculating ovulation and due date such as: Human errors as a result of wrong data calculation, inability to determine the ovulation period for ladies with an irregular menstrual cycle, the problem of determining the period when there are great chances of conception, etc. The main benefit of the system is that it will help reduce the chances of unwanted/unplanned pregnancy while increasing the chance of conception. On the other hand, due to the level of interactivity required in the new system, it will be developed in the following programming languages: Java and XML are required for information presentation. SQLITE will serve as the database.
