ABSTRACT

Risk, as we all know is naturally inevitable but insurance has made it easier to deal with as risk can be transferred. Many risk such as fire, loss of goods in transit, theft etc can be insured against because statistics are available which enables insurance companies to calculate the probability of losing arising from them. This project work is aimed at assisting the insurance firm in the running of their day to day activity and exercise. It creates room for online application and registration and a database that can be managed by only authorized users of staffs of the firm. This project was achieved using questionnaires and interview and also online research from the internet. It would help the firm keep track of their customers and services rendered to incoming customers. Computers systems are now being used in insurance corporations in capturing different types of data for different purposed. This is to enhance the only the operations of the company but to also secure the various policies and personal information of their customers. As much this software is an online application, further research needs to be done to make it suitable for customers also, as only staffs of Prudence insurance house are allowed to use it. As much insurance has not gained many grounds now, with this software, its publicity will be emphasized, leaving man with an option of bearing his risk.
