ABSTRACT
Library resources consist of
documents, e-joumals, e-books and multimedia materials. These resources exist
inprint and electronic forms. When the resources are acquired, stored,
transmitted and accessed over computer networks such asthe Internet, intranet,
WideArea Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN), they are referred to as
eresources or online resources. The proliferation ofinformation in all the
academic disciplines hasrendered the printmaterials available in libraries
inadequate. To obtain adequate and current information on any discipline,
acquire new knowledge, monitorpublicationsin the fields ofstudy, etc,
researchers and students often extend theirsearches to e-resources. In this
way, they benefit from the numerous works ofexpertsin the fields of study
including theworks published at themoment. Therefore, databases available for
library research exist in print and electronic forms.
