ABSTRACT

This research work focuses on the discussion of the use of auto schedulers in an organization to schedule events and tasks can be said to be very effective for daily tasks and events routine and as such, need optimal enhancement and effective usage. In organization, the personal assistants to the directors or other senior officers usually do the work of scheduler and reminder. That means, they take record of important events, meeting as well as tasks to be done by the directors or other senior officers within the organization and disseminates information to others if need be within the organization. In this current era of information technology, mobile phones play a vital role when you talk of daily tasks and event. This research work is centered on the use of mobile device to schedule an event or task for the future which will be automatically responded to by an SMS when the schedule time is due and automatically send an SMS notification to whoever is consign with the particular event or task. Qualitative and Qualitative research methodology will be used for the research and this will involve individual interview, use of questionnaire for acquiring data sample as well as a systematic observation. Some of the tools that will be used involves but not limited to Android Development Tool (ADT) with JAVA and XML as the programming languages since the proposed system will be built on an android operating system to make it readily available for the users.
