ABSTRACT
After the introduction of Virtual Reality Modeling Language, 3-Dimentional virtual reality graphics has become a popular form of technology. However, it is still a great challenge for a novice user equipped with a regular desktop PC to navigate in most virtual worlds of moderate complexity. Specifically, the aim of this project is to generate animations of customizable tour paths and its associated human camera motions in an on-line manner according to high-level user inputs the problem statement is discussed, and the aims and objectives are set out. Initial background research is carried out into the area of Virtual Reality and Virtual Worlds, before detailed requirement gathering and analysis allows investigation into the design and implementation of a virtual tour of the university. 3Dimentional routing accuracy, appropriate means to visualize 3Dimentional spatial analysis, tools to effortlessly explore and navigate through large models inical time, with the correct texture and geometry. There had been a lot of study on 3 Dirnentional landscapes, urban and city models. The rapid advancement in science and technology had opened wide options for a change and development of current methods and concepts. Virtual Reality (VR) is one of those developments, which gives the sense of feel in virtual environment. It enables users to visualize, make query and explore 3 Dimensional data. Such system can, not only help laymen, who often have trouble in understanding or interpreting complex data, but they also can help experts in decision making. Eventually, this project work will serve as a starting point for a more challenging research idea. The focus of this research is to investigate and implementing 3D navigation techniques and solutions for virtual reality. To achieve this, data were gathered using observation and interview method. These data were analyzed and software developed using C++ programming language and Reality factory.
