ABSTRACT
This project work analyzed the temperate data for Abia State (2004-2011). The ultimate aim is to design a mathematical model which could be used to make forecast for future temperature values. The result of the analysis showed the trend was constant about the overall mean; there were seasonal effects and slight cyclical effects too. The trend seasonal and cyclic components were used for the forecast while irregular component was used to construct the confidence limits for the forecast values. In general, agricultural production depends highly on a wide range of methodological condition which include temperature for maximum output.
