ABSTRACT This project compares different methods for solving systems of linear equations using matrices. It looks at four techniques: Gaussian elimination, matrix inversion, Cramer's rule, and using eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Each method is explained in simple terms, highlighting how easy or difficult it is to use for different sizes of problems. Gaussian elimination is simple and works well for most cases. Matrix inversion is elegant but can be slow for larger problems. Cramer's rule is quick for small systems but not practical for bigger eigenvectors is useful for special kinds of problems, like those with certain patterns. The paper compares these methods and gives advice on which to choose based on the type and size ofthe problem you’re trying to solve.
