ABSTRACT

The inhibition of microbial influenced  corrosion oil pipelines was studied using Gravimetric,

Absorbance and scanning Electron v1icroscope (SEM) techniques. The inhibitory behavior of

Justicia Carnea leaves cxtiact an anaerobic growth of sulphate reducing bacteria (SRB) and

errosion of oil pipeline in d uen ed by the SRB are evident in the absorbance comparison results
