ABSTRACT
The origin of clothing dates back to the history of the early men who then made clothes from leaves, strings (all from plants) and hides and skin from animals they killed. Further improvements, however took place as there were modifications as the year went by. Although modern consumers take clothing for granted making the fabrics that go into clothing not easy. One sign of this is that the textile industry was the first to be merchandised during the industrial revolution, before the invention of the powered loom, textile production was tedious and labour intensive process. Materials were sourced from plants, animals etc and molded into finished products known as fabrics which are today worn by all.
