ABSTRACT

s. genera /I licrococcus, Pseudomonas. Klebsiella, Proteus. Enterobacter. Escherichia coli. and Streptococcus species. The effluent discharge points had higher levels of copper (2.34 - 2.85mg/l) and zinc (0.37-1,27mg/l) than the upstream and downstream sampling points. Nitrate. sulphate, and phosphate levels were all within the limits permissible by EI3PA at all the sampling points. There were remarkable changes in colour (22 ± 2.26 and 57.4 +. 11.16 solids were 66.67 ±41.79 and 66.9 ± 34.13 mg/l for dry and rainy seasons, respectively.
