ABSTRACT
In this work. Differential Transformation method (DTM) and Multi-step Differential Transformation method (MSDTM) are studied; and are used to obtain solutions oftwo classes of non-linear ordinary differential equations. One class consist of dynamical systems (which include Coullet, Genesio, Chen and Lorenz systems) and the other class focuses on the LaneEmden equation of polytropic indexes 0, 1, 2 and 5. The result obtained using DTM and MSDTM are compared. The comparison made showed that MSDTM gives a better rate of convergence and interval of convergence than DTM.
