ABTRACT

In this paper the basic reproduction number for Ro for HBV-HDV co-Infection was obtained with respect to the parameters mathcad. These parameters enhances the infectivity 7the disease S^ateZne 7 control p o ensure that its value does not increase or conducive environmentfor its ■ lr7‘"f 7 '7 0 °Wed' ThC reS‘,lt further showed 1hat’ Pz «he rate ot which individuals who are infectious ofHBV enter into infectious and treated HBV class) with sensitivity index of-0.514 is the lowest sensitive parameter that affect the transmission dynamics ofHBV-HDV co-infection in the population, for the reason that increasing the value of pz will reduce the infection level ofthe disease, thus can be used to control the disease dynamics in the population.
