ABSTRACT

This work examined the income level of workers in relation to their clothing practices in lsuikwuato Local Government Area. Factors that influence the workers clothing selection and use were determined. The problem associated with their clothing selection and uses were also determined. Four categories of workers were selected using multi-stage sampling method. Two hundred validated questionnaire were administered. Simple percentages frequencies, chi-square, simple mean and Pearson correlation analysis were used in data analysis Results revealed that income level in one of the major factors that affected the workers clothing selection and use as indicated by means scores of (19.5). It further revealed that married workers were mostly influenced that married workers were mostly influenced by husband/wife (86.6%) and religion belief (72.5%). Also among single workers the fashion in vogue and fashion on media influenced their clothing selection (61.6%), (66.7%) respectively Recommendation was based on the fact that workers Should argument their Income level through other occupations.
