ABSTRACT This study examined Fibonacci sequence and its application to Artificial Intelligence, with emphasis on the Fibonacci Search algorithm as an optimization technique. The mathematical basis of the Fibonacci sequence and its relationship with Fibonacci Search were discussed. The study also presented a recursive Python implementation to demonstrate the generation of Fibonacci numbers. The study concludes that the Fibonacci sequence provides an important mathematical foundation for optimization techniques used in Artificial Intelligence.
