ABSTRACT

An Expert system for managing culture and tourism information aims at developing a web base expert system that will aid in showcasing the rich culture and tourism of Imo State and at the same time help potential tourists who intend to visit the state make reservation before their visit. The tourism information used in this project is peculiarto the communities in Imo state and they are managed by ministry of culture and tourism ofImo state. The proposed system carries out an online and real time step-wise process and presentation oftourism data and information. This framework is believed to serve as a tool for the tourists and other stake holders in the tourism sector.
