Evaluation And Analysis Of Vitamin A, E, And C Intake Of People In Abia State

ABSTRACT
Nutritional survey were conducted randomly from individuals living within Abia State. Data were collected with structured and validated questionnaire. Food samples for chemical analysis were collected form ten (10) different homes, and analyzed for the contents of vitamins (A, C, and E). Data from questionnaire were analyzed tising simple descriptive method, and statistical analysis of the result were done using a one way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result shows that the level of intake were very low. Sample 6 (salad) has the highest significant values of 2280 and 438.25 in vitamin A and C respectively, while sample 7 and 5 have the least significant value of 27.31 and 3.52 respectively. Sample 10 (Carrot) has the highest significant value of 61.69 and sample 3 having the least significant value of 2.35 in the vitamin E content
