ABSTRACT
The effects of organic fertilizer application on the presence and
concentrations of flavonoid, phenol, tannin, alkaloid, steroid, saponin and
cvnogenic — side of ocimum gratissunhlin vere investigated. Planting buckets
were d with organic fertilizer (poultry di'opping) at the rates of 5g, I Og, 1
5g, - d 25g. No organic fertilizer served as control. Organic fertilizer
treatment id not affect the presence of phytochemical since treated and
untreated plants contained these phytochemicals, in 0: gratissi/iluin. Organic
