ABSTRACT xii The Plagiarism Checker and Al Content Detection System addresses the growing challenge of academic dishonesty in the digital age by integrating traditional plagiarism detection with advanced artificial-intelligence content analysis. Designed as a web-based platform, the system enables students to securely upload essays, term papers, and research reports in DOCX, PDF, or TXT formats alongside essential metadata such as course code and registration number. Submitted documents undergo a multi-stage analysis: a plagiarism engine compares text against global web archives, institutional repositories, and local databases using both lexical matching and semantic similarity techniques to identify direct copying and paraphrased content; an Al-detection module applies stylometric profiling, perplexity measurements, and machine-learning classifiers to estimate the likelihood of Al generation; and a stylometric analyzer evaluates writing style consistency against known human-authored samples to flag ghostwriting or abrupt stylistic shifts. Results are compiled into interactive HTML and downloadable PDF/CSV reports, detailing similarity scores, Al-probability metrics, matched source excerpts, and stylistic deviations. Rolebased access controls ensure that students, lecturers, and administrators view only relevant data, while audit logs and encryption safeguard user privacy and data integrity. Developed using a modular, scalable architecture with a Django/Python backend, React frontend, and PostgreSQL database, the system is both cost-effective and extensible supporting horizontal scaling, local repository integration, and future expansion to. additional languages or document types. By providing comprehensive detection, transparent reporting, and an intuitive user .interface, this solution empowers educational institutions especially those in resource-constrained regions to uphold academic integrity and adapt to emerging Al-driven threats
