ABSTRACT

This project work Design and Implementation of Information Security System is centered on creating an Information security system that will not only be efficient in monitoring transactions, but will also reduce overpayment, fraud, insecurity and other forms of disaster. This project is all about securing files, transactions and information that is important to the banking industry, which if it gets to the wrong hands, might be used for fraudulent purposes. An important aspect of information security and risk management is recognizing the value of information and defining appropriate procedures and protection requirements for the information. Not all information are equal and so not all information requires the same degree of protection. The software developed could be used to carry out the information security process. Visual basic 6.0 programming language was used to develop the software with Microsoft Access as the database.
