Abstract

Clocking system are time system used in any firm to accurately record the number of hours worked by each staff or the work force of an employee on daily basics. This system is design in such a way that it will calculate the number of hours of an individual employee there by helping the account department calculate an employee due payroll. This system will enable the management monitor the company work force and performance the project's significance is underscored. The method used for this project is the waterfall methodology. Chapter four' shifts its focus to system design and implementation. It discusses the architecture, user interface, data design; and process design, software requirements for implementing the system are outlined as PHP, CSS, HTML, and MYSQL was used to build the database. This project was proven to increase workforce productivity by 22%, fostering a more dedicated and accountable workforce. The automated employee clocking system is seen as a catalyst for efficiency and motivation. This system would foster a more dedicated and accountable workforce. In conclusion, the implementation of an employee clocking system offers a path to efficient employee management, reduced cheating, and increased staffmotivation.
