This project focuses on the design and implementation of an online catering and event management system to streamline event planning, menu customization, and booking processes. The methodology includes a systematic approach starting with requirement analysis to identify user needs and system objectives. The system is designed using a client- , server or cloud-based architecture with a relational database to manage events, menus, payments, and user interactions.Development follows an Agile methodology, leveraging modern technologies like React, Node.js, and MySQL. Key features include event booking, catering menu customization, secure payment processing, and real-time notifications. Testing ensures functionality, usability, and performance, followed by deployment on a scalable hosting platform. Security measures, such as data encryption and compliance with standards like GDPR, are integrated to protect user data. Comprehensive user and technical documentation support system usability and maintenance. The result is a robust, user-friendly platform that simplifies catering and event management for clients and administrators alike.
