Design And Implementation Of A Computer Based Police Investigation System: (A Case Study Of Federal Investigation Intelligence Bureau)

ABSTRACT

This is a research work on the design and implementation of a computer based police investigation system. Ensuring security of life and property is a very important part of life in a society or nation. That is why security agents like the police force were created. The importance of policing a society or nation cannot be overemphasized. And that is why security bodies like the Federal Investigation Intelligence Bureau (FHR) to assist the Nigerian Police Force in carrying out its activities of ensuring security of lives and properties. The need to better the services of this branch of the Nigerian police force gave rise to this research. In this study, the researcher aims at modernizing the mode of information storage and retrieval SO as to better the process of investigation in the Federal Investigation Intelligence Bureau. The research work was designed using Visual basic and Microsoft Access Database.
