ABSTRACT

Computer based Way-Bill management system is the application of computer in way bill record keeping and management in all organization or establishment. This record of way bill prepares a list of goods to he supplied and instruction about their destinations and will enable the organization to make future references and to make effective decisions. In the manual system of way bill, management, information about way bill is written on paper in form of receipt that shows a list of items dispatched and their destination. These documents are stored in files, drawers, boxes, cupboards, shelves and cabinets designed for this purpose. Such storage facility must make for easy retrieval of records especially when the goods to be conveyed encounters problem on the way to their final destination.
