Application Of Quality Control In Omo Multi Active (A Case Study Of Unilever Nigeria Plc)

ABSTRACT

This investigation on application of quality control in Omo Multi Active was carried out in Unilever Nigeria Plc, Aba. It was made up of ten (10) selected samples at a regular interval of two hours. Decision on accessing particular sampling plan was made using quality control charts (i.e. chart R-chart) p-chart, C-chart and operating characteristics function (O.0 curve). The aim of this work is to use statistical control tools such as the aforementioned to assess the conformity of product, Omo Multi Active to the set standard. Making use of X chart and R- chart in the first table, one samp'e each was out of control. During the second check it was observed that all the remnant samples were in statistical control. In the second table. Making use of O.C. curve, P —chart and C-chart it was observed that the quality of Omo produced met the required standard.
