Analysis Of The Characteristics Of Various Brands Of Paracetamol

ABSTRACT

 In this work, the means of the characteristics of different brands of paracetamol tablets were examined and compared. The brands of paracetamols considered in this work include cetamol  tablets, Emzor tablet, Saridon p tablet, M & B tablet, Jawa tablets, Dr. Joe tablets, Panadol tablets, Juliel tablets, Fatina and Nichben tablets. Ten different samples of each of these brands were compared for the different characteristics such as thickness, uniformity of content uniformity of diameter, uniformity of weight and of course hardness. In order to justify certain assumption about the analysis of variance (ANOVA) such as normality, randomness and constant variance we shall conduct a test for each of these assumptions for each of the characteristics concerned with the data. The analysis of variance and the Duncan's multiple range test will be used to analyse and separate the means of the different treatments i.e (brands). Furthermore, it will seen in this work that certain medical and biological terms. This terms will only be used in our literature review and of course introduction . the model for the one way classification used in this work is given below. Yij=t+ai+eij.
