An Investigation Of Forms And Patterns Of Aggressive Behaviour Of Nursery School Children While Working In Group In Ikwuano L.G.A. Abia State

ABSTRACT

The study determined the forms and patterns of aggressive behaviour of nursery school children in lkwuano L .G.A of Abia State, the causes of aggression and ways of helping children with such behaviour. Three nursery schools were randomly selected from the seven nursery schools in lkwuano L.G. A. for the study. Also about 150 pupils were selected through simple random sampling technique for the study. The instrument used for the study was observation technique. The result from the study showed that nursery school children exhibited fighting aggression most when compared with other forms of aggression and then followed by shouting. Recommendations were made to the government to rise up to these challenge, and to parents and teachers to join efforts in transforming these behaviour in nursery school children to better ones.
