ABSTRACT viii This project explores the concept of homomorphism in group theory, an area of abstract algebra which is concerned with structure known as groups. A homomorphism is a function between two groups that preserves the group operation meaning it translate the algebraic structure of one group to the other while maintaining key properties. It coverers key concepts, definition ,properties of homomorphism including kernel, images, types ofhomomorphism like isomorphism and endomorphism and it also reveals the connections between groups. Group homomorphism is essential for understanding the structure and properties ofgroups.
