ABSTRACT
In this piece of work, it has been established that no linear relationship exists between age and systolic blood pressure of hypertensive staff of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike. It was also observed that systolic blood pressure of hypertenstive staff is independent of age. Moreover, it was observed that there was no linear relationship existing between age and systolic blood pressure of hypertensive staff in the two sexes. Furthermore, the analysis of this piece of work shows that there is a moderate quadratic relationship between age and systolic blood pressure of hypertensive staff. It was established that the quadratic model has a good fit to the observed sample data.
