ABSTRACT

 This study examines the Effect of Time Management on Organizational Productivity. The main objective of this study is to ascertain the relevance of time consciousness of staff in relation to achieving organizational productivity, to determine the effect of quality time management on organizational productivity, to assess the effect ofjob security and poor working condition on organizational productivity and to investigate the effect of inefficient time management on organizational productivity. A survey research design was adopted for this study. Primary and secondary data were utilized and the primary data include questionnaire administered to staff and management of Nigerian Bottling Company Aba while the secondary data include those data that were already in existence before this study is carried out. The population for this study is Two Hundred and fifty and the sample size is One Hundred and fifty three which was determined using Taro Yamane's formula. All the questions were streamlined so as to be well understood by the employees thus, content andface validity was adopted. The test of reliability used by the researcher is the test-retest analysis and cronbach alpha. Method of data analysis were analyzed using linear regression with the aid of Statistical Packagesfor Social Sciences (SPSS) and Chi-square statistical tool, The major findings of the study are; that time consciousness ofstaffhas relevance in relation to achieving organizational productivity (X2cai = 47.912 > X'crincai = 7.815; p < 0.05) and Quality time management has effect on organizational productivity (r = 0.966; p < 0.05); Job security and poor working condition has effect on organizationalproductivity (r = 0.904; p < 0.05); and Ineffective time management has effect on organizationalproductivity (r = 0.963; p < 0.05). and the recommendation is that organization should put time management tips into practice so that they can perform effectively and also to understand that the key to effective time management is Event controlfor high productivity.
