Effect Of Monetary Incentives On Workers Performance In {] Nigeria Organization (A Case Study Of Pz Cusson Plc Aba)
ABSTRACT
The aim of this researcher is to
ascertain the effect of monetary incentives on workers performance. The essence
or purpose is also to investigate the extent of the impact of monetary
incentives as a good motivational tool on workers performance in a society like
ours, where the cost of living is very high. It also aims to bring to light
whether monetary incentive alone is not sufficient to motivate all categories
of employee to perform better on the job. Workers are a priceless possession in
the achievement of organizational goals and to ensure that all hands are on
deck, they must be motivated, to inspire as one of the tools employed by
management to motivate on inspired employee in incentive. General data needs to
achieve the objectives of the study, descriptive survey research design was
adopted questionnaire was used as the major instrument for primary data collection.
To broaden the researcher's depth of knowledge in the study areas the
researcher embarked upon review of related literature, with data draw from
secondary sources. Data generated in the study was presented on frequently
tables and analyzed using simple percentage while the hypothesis was three
tested. The population of the study is three hundred (300) while the sample
size is one hundred and seventy one (171).
